Beka grew up in Knoxville, TN, and received her BSN from Milligan College. She then obtained her MSN in 2010 from the Medical University of South Carolina. Prior to working as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Beka worked for 3 years as a nurse on the pediatric hematology/oncology unit at MUSC Children’s Hospital. She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board and is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Her medical interests include newborns, breastfeeding, and asthma education. Beka and her husband, Trey, moved to his hometown of Kingstree in 2012 and currently live there with their two children, Delainey and Giles. She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
